3. An Effective Marketing Approach

Our top priority here at Purehaven Press is to get your book on as many shelves as possible. The fact of the matter is that when retailers consider books for their shelves, seventy five percent of those titles are automatically rejected because they are printed on demand. Twenty percent are also rejected because they are priced too high, usually resulting from publishers looking to increase their profits. For these reasons we normally produce around a thousand copies of each title, in order to avoid the Print on Demand stigma. We also price our books according to industry standards and in some cases below, in order to increase the title’s chances. No other publisher in the world legally commits themselves to these production requirements. We do so in order to make sure that each title we promote is automatically considered in the top five percent of books on the market today.
